The business before the brand. Before a mark is made or a word is written, we read deeply and without assumption. We immerse in the business, the market, the audience, and the culture to find what is actually true.

The brief is never what it says it is. Read is where we find out what it really says.

Business objectives. Where the business needs to go and what the brand must do to serve that journey.
Market and audience. Who the brand speaks to, what they believe, and what they need to hear.
Culture and values. What the organisation stands for, beneath the surface of what it says it stands for.
